The Faculty of Law prepares students to use their studies to build a society that values freedom, equality, and respect for others, especially the vulnerable. The Faculty consists of four departments. The Department of Juridical Studies trains students to use legal knowledge to contribute to society. The Department of Current Legal Studies teaches students IT skills for use in consumer law, corporate law, and environmental law. The Department of Political Science educates students to examine political issues using the approaches of science, history, and philosophy. The Department of Global Legal Studies, which offers a mandatory study abroad program, prepares students for work on the global stage by helping them acquire English and intercultural communication skills.
